Frequently asked questions
Answers to what we hear most from agencies and freelancers managing WordPress sites with WP Safer. Something missing? Ask us directly.
Billing & Plans
Can I switch plans?
Yes, you can upgrade or downgrade at any time. Changes take effect immediately on upgrade, or at the next billing cycle on downgrade.
What happens if I exceed my site limit?
You'll be notified before your limit is reached. Existing sites stay active; you simply won't be able to add new ones until you upgrade.
Can I buy more backup space without changing my plan?
Yes. Pick one of the storage packs on the pricing page — 500 GB, 1 TB or 2 TB. The space is added to your plan quota right after payment, your site limit stays the same, and you can cancel the pack on its own.
Do you offer refunds?
Yes, we offer a 14-day money-back guarantee on all paid plans. No questions asked.
Backups & Security
Is my backup data safe?
Backups are stored in your connected cloud storage. If you cancel, you retain 30 days to download your data before it's removed from our servers.
How often are backups taken?
A full backup runs every night, with an incremental copy on every change on the Agency and Scale plans. Every backup is stored in two regions and test-restored automatically.
How fast can I restore a site if something breaks?
4 minutes on average for a full-site restore. Restores run from a tested backup, and a broken update can also be rolled back on its own in one click.
Are my backups encrypted?
Yes — 256-bit AES encryption. You hold the key, so even we cannot open your backups.
For agencies
Can I manage multiple client sites from one account?
Yes. WP Safer is built for agencies and freelancers: connect every site to one panel, see status/updates/backups for all of them, and log into any WP admin with a single click.
Does WP Safer install WordPress core, plugin and theme updates automatically?
Yes. Updates can run automatically or on demand, and every update takes an automatic snapshot first so a broken update can be rolled back in one click.
